Tophipico is a privately owned livery yard and riding centre. Located just outside of the bustling tourist town of Albufeira our yard offers a variety of services from beginner lessons or pony walks for kids to full livery service and advanced lessons for experienced horse owners.

 

Surrounded by peaceful country side, our location is ideal for riding out, letting you experience another side of the Algarve.
   

 
All our horses are looked after with love and care making sure each horse’s individual needs are catered for. Our ‘open’ stable system consists of covered boxes that open onto individual, partly covered paddocks, allowing the horses some natural contact with their ‘neighbours’. Horses can also be turned out in one of our fields behind the stables.

 

 

You will be looked after by qualified and experienced staff that will make sure that your time with us is as enjoyable as possible. At TOPHIPICO we aim to do everything to make the rider safe and comfortable providing the correct equipment and well trained horses for every age group and according to the riders experience. Lessons can be given in English, Portuguese and German.
